Dear Patient,

We wanted to update you regarding the position of dental treatment in the UK. The Chief Dental Officer of England (Sara Hurley), released a statement on Monday 4th of January 2021, stating that dental services ‘are to remain open to seeing patients.’

We are able to proceed with general dental treatment, provided the guidance is followed and the correct ventilation is installed as per the guidance of The Faculty of General Dental Practitioners that was released on the 2nd October 2020.

We have installed a new heat air exchange system in November 2020 to comply with the new guidance and to ensure a minimum of 10 air changes in the treatment rooms per hour is maintained during any procedures that produces any aerosol. New ventilation and pipework has also been fitted.

All our staff have had further training according to the new guidance. We will also be wearing the correct personal protective equipment at all times, depending on the procedure required.
